Most builders show you the finished home. We show you what it looked like before the walls closed up, because that is where the quality actually lives. Every photo on this page was taken on our own Solana Beach job. No stock photos. No borrowed portfolio.

Before: the foundation you will never see again

This is the part of your home no one ever sees again. Footings, rebar, the exact steel layout the engineer specified. It gets covered in concrete and then covered in framing, and from that day on you have to trust it was done right. We do not ask for that trust blindly. We photograph it.

During: framing, before cover up

Framing is the skeleton of the house. Once sheathing, insulation, and drywall go on, you will never see these connections again. This is the stage where a builder either does it right or hides it. We document it so you never have to wonder.

After: the finished home

The finished home is at the top of this page. Modern lines, glass railings, clean stucco. It is easy to photograph a pretty finished house. It is much harder to prove what is inside the walls. That is what this page is for.

Why we publish this

When you hire a builder, you are buying work you cannot inspect after the fact. The only honest answer to that is documentation: real photos, from the real job, taken at the stages when the work is still visible. This page is the first in our project provenance series. Every project we feature will carry the same standard: before, during, and after, all from our own jobs.
